The team

Christian Combe

• Graduated Engineer from “Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers” in Aerodynamic and from business school “Institut d’Administration des Entreprises”.
  
• 24 years experience in aeronautical, space and automotive industry
  mainly working in commercial and business development sectors.
  
• Six years at Aerospatiale (formally now Airbus) in charge of the
  commercial contracts for engines procurement and then of the overall ATR family commercial contracts.
  
• Sixteen years at Alcatel Space working on various space programs
  within the commercial department. Last position was Business
  Development Director on satellite multimedia project.
  
• Has participated on the RELY (5th PCRD) project whose objective was to develop a hybrid platform for cars combining satellite radio,
  enhanced GPS (EGNOS) and wireless telecommunications (GPRS).
  
• Working since year 2000 with the main European carmakers for the
  development of a broadcasting multimedia platform based on satellite technology.
  
• Since 2003, consultant working for space, aeronautic and automotive industries in the development of new projects. Main achievements are:
  o Has establish a European network of collaboration with the
  automotive sector,
  o Has participated to pilot projects involving the car industry and
  the space industry to demonstrate the feasibility of new technologies having interest for the drivers,
  o Involved in the GJU, through the 6th framework program, for the
  definition and development of new sets of applications for the cars
  using the future Galileo system
