History of Pyramis

Created in January 2nd 1991 by Jean-Marc Durieux, our company rapidly
developed its activities around areas such as quality and organisation
management as means to improve the competitiveness of its clients.



From the start, the activities linked to the management of quality have
included such topics as the implementation of Quality Management
systems, support of an evolution of the QMS toward a global approach,
the development of applied methods and tools (problem management,
statistics tools: SPC & experience plans, etc...)
In relation to the area of project management methodology,
optimisation of new products conception has been developed throughout
the year and now represents an equal volume of business as our quality
market.
Adding competences to the company allowed Pyramis to satisfy its
customer's requirements, but also to extend its domains of intervention
to influence the current structure of those companies. Although
industrial organisation activities represented a small part of the business
to start with, they have always been part of the activities since the
company's creation.
The team had 4 consultants in January 1992 and then grew to 6
consultants until 2000. It then grew to 13 in 2003.
