Our deontology

Pyramis is based on the same values as those of our team : professionalism, respect,  ability to listen, integrity, team working, humility. Our company ethic is in complete harmony with these values.
Since June 1994, our company has been qualified by the OPQCM
(Management Consultant Professional Qualification Agency).

Since its conception, the company has developed its own means of assuring the quality of its services. These are now complete and since February 1997, the quality system is formally conforming to ISO 9001 (edition 1994 then 2000). Since October 2005, we have put in place an integrated management system which conforms with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2003, OHSAS 18001:1999, SA 8000:2001.
As a result, for all our offered services, we undertake to respect the obligations contained above. These also integrate the requirements of our professional code of conduct defined by the OPQCM and the undertakings resulting from our company policy.


Professionalism




  • we will only accept those tasks for which we are competent, and we will conduct these with the complete honesty and endeavour that our clients have the right to expect


  • we will define with our clients and in our proposals, those who which will work on their behalf. In the exceptional (for Pyramis) case where sub-contractors or other non-Pyramis personnel will participate on the task, this will be clearly indicated to the client. In addition, such persons will be qualified by either the Quality procedures or those defined in the Quality Plan specifically applicable to the case in hand


  • in order to achieve the required results, we undertake to use the most appropriate methods. These could be those for which were have full copyright (resulting from our own in-house method developments), those from the public domain, those which we have the right to use or those belonging to the client organisation depending on the needs and approvals agreed.

 

Payment and Contractual



  • we will not accept payment except from the client under the  conditions described in the contract document for the project in the approved version or the relevant Purchase order


  • unless otherwise specifically stipulated, the offer accepted by the client organisation is at a fixed price


  • In the case where the planned duration of the intervention is exceeded due to an initial under estimation, we undertake to respect the objectives with neither modification of the contract nor additional charges


  • all additional demands will be treated either as new projects or codicils to the originally accepted project. Timely additional requirements may be accepted without codicil provided that they are further definitions of initial requirements. As such they must not affect the objectives, the nature or the duration of the mission.

 

Confidentiality, secrecy, preservation of Client’s interests and intellectual property



  • Pyramis undertakes each of it’s missions in a manner which is rigorously independent of any third party interest and remains solely committed to the best interest of each individual client


  • we undertake to work  towards the competitiveness of our clients. To this end we will not accept missions which could lead to a potential conflict of interests and would notify our clients of any current or proposed involvement with competing companies


  • any information brought to the attention of Pyramis in the course of providing consultation, or as the result of work undertaken on a client’s behalf are is confidential. It may not, under any circumstances be reused or disclosed without the prior permission of that client


  • Pyramis is entitled to use as a Point of Reference, the name of a client and the type of service provided to them. It is not allowed to indicate the contents of applications or to any results obtained


  • documents containing confidential information are controlled and managed in line with the Pyramis quality system or via a specific Quality plan in certain cases


  • the transfer to the client of knowledge and know-how as well as supplied documents or used become the property of the client. They may be used without limit if used exclusively internally


  • rights relative to the methods and documents described above could be extended to external use, presentations to other companies, actions with suppliers, use by other recipients of the service for training, etc … on condition that this has been explicitly planned and agreed in the project or by a document approved by Pyramis

 

Environmental policy



  • Pyramis practices internally its own environmental quality procedures but also engages to apply these rules, practices and behaviour to its offerings on client sites


  • we will integrate environmental responsibility into all our missions whenever this possible, even though this may not have been specifically identified as a mission objective


  • we will respect and comply with our clients own rules on waste and recycling whilst working on their sites.

 

Health, safety and working conditions



  • we will ensure that all our operatives follow all safety requirements in work situations and keep abreast of the latest requirements


  • we will ensure that we define and follow the Accident Plans or any specific security rules of our clients


  • we will build into all our task a preoccupation with health, working conditions and safety whenever this is possible even if it is not specifically stated as an objective of the mission.

 

Social and Human aspects



  • we manage our missions with respect for individuals : each member of personnel of our client is held in respect and is advised or implicated in the search for solutions which benefit both the individual and his/her employer


  • we ensure that each member of our consultant team and our administrative staff is respected and considered in al our work situations


  • our personnel are properly employed, with work contracts which conform strictly to the law. In the event of subcontration, cocontraction or holidays, these are covered by legal commercial contracts which conform with the normal rights of workers with the same restrictions as for regular employment


  • we work with respect for other consultancies both in our proposals and our interventions: we remain open to all forms of collaboration in the interests of our client whilst respecting all the other undertakings outlined in this document.

 

Provision of resource and guarantee of service



  • the services provided by Pyramis imply the provision of resources. In addition to our undertakings of professionalism (see the appropriate paragraph) we undertake to ensure the availability of all the necessary resources to achieve our contracts: human resources, computing resources, tools etc


  • in addition to this undertaking on resources, and in respect of the fixed price nature of our contracts, we undertake to offer a guarantee of service. This offers to our clients the possibility of additional complimentary services, should it be necessary even after the official closure of our contract. These may be provided in order to achieve our mission when unavoidable difficulties have led to an undeniable restriction on the service delivered.

 

Legal Issues



  • Pyramis conducts it’s missions in accordance with all current legislation. In the case of an unresolved dispute remaining after recovery actions have been put into effect by Pyramis the only competent deciding authority is deemed to be the Tribunal de Commerce of Toulouse.
